Growth {Seattle Photographer}

Life has been moving so fast lately it has been hard to keep up.  Our boys are growing, harvest season is here, back-to-back sessions and on top of everything, we have spent the better part of our days packing, moving, and unpacking.  Sigh.  It is exhausting but wonderful.  We are now beginning to settle into a routine.  We sent our oldest off to preschool on Tuesday and my heart filled with happiness for that precious moment.  He grabbed his backpack and put it on all by himself, proudly announcing to everyone that he was going to preschool.  When we got there he ran into a circle of kids and didn't even wave goodbye.

In the meantime I have finally been printing and framing old images, de-cluttering my desktop, and thinking about my next move as a photographer.  A lot is on my mind-- branding, classes, holiday mini-sessions, new business names, etc. It seems like a lot more than just my kids are growing!

Of course, while I contemplate all that is growing around me, I get to enjoy the finale of warm summer nights and beyond gorgeous sunsets from our new balcony.

And some other random photos:

 While brother was at preschool, we cuddled and played peekaboo!

 We made the most delicious appetizer: coconut corn pancake, char siu pork, and carrot daikon slaw

 yummmm...my hubby made artisan crunchy bread
 another yummy creation....grapes rolled in blue cheese, cream cheese, port and pistachios (I am not counting calories....)

W Family {Seattle Family Photographer}

I had the pleasure of catching up with an old classmate and photographing her beautiful family.  I remember this lady's kind heart and smile from our years at Seattle University.  Even in the umpteen years that have passed since we last connected, that same kind heart and smile are still there!  Better yet, her family has the same kindness, warmth, and bright smiles!  It was such a pleasure photographing their growing family and chasing their 18 month old daughter around!  Thank you for letting me capture your warmth and love for each other!!
